1. Introduction and The “Safety-First” Mandate

Ntampi (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a subsidiary of MC MULTIMEDIA, provides a global lifeline for survivors of extreme adversity, including abuse, addiction, trafficking, and systemic violence.

Given that our users include victims of surveillance (domestic abuse, trafficking, or political persecution), privacy is not just a policy—it is a safety feature. This Platform is designed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) to minimize digital footprints and ensure immediate access to resources without the need for traditional account registration.

2. The “Account-Free” Strategy

To protect our users from discovery or data leaks, Ntampi operates on an Account-Free basis:

  • No Usernames/Passwords: We do not require you to create an account or provide a name to access the verified resource directory.
  • Minimized Footprint: By eliminating the login barrier, we ensure that no “user profile” exists on our central servers that could be accessed by unauthorized parties or perpetrators.

3. Information Categories and Collection

We strictly limit data collection to the absolute mechanical minimum required to provide help:

A. User-Provided Information (Voluntary)

  • Emergency Contact Data: Only if you choose to use the SOS feature, you may temporarily input a contact number.
  • Support Communications: If you contact us via email (info@mcmedia.top), we retain that correspondence only as long as necessary to resolve your request.

B. Automated Technical Data

  • Ephemeral Metadata: We do not track IP addresses for the purpose of identity. We use basic device metadata (e.g., OS version) only to ensure the PWA renders correctly in your mobile-first 9:16 aspect ratio.

C. Location Information

  • Local Processing: To find the nearest verified help center, your location is processed locally on your device.
  • No Tracking History: Ntampi does not maintain a server-side history of your movements. Once you close the app or use the Quick Exit feature, local location cache is cleared.

4. Safety Features: Quick Exit & Stealth Mode

  • Quick Exit Button: A prominent button is available at all times to instantly redirect the browser to a neutral site (e.g., Google or Weather), preventing a perpetrator from seeing the nature of the app if they walk into the room.
  • PWA Packaging: As a PWA packaged for the Google Play Store (.aab), Ntampi runs in a “standalone” mode to hide browser history and URL bars, further protecting your privacy.

5. Data Retention & “Offline-First” Architecture

  • Offline Access: The directory of verified counseling, emergency centers, and recovery resources is stored in an encrypted local cache on your device.
  • Zero-Server Storage: Because we do not use accounts, we do not store “user data” on our servers. Your search history within the app remains on your hardware and nowhere else.

6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data. Disclosure occurs only in the following extreme circumstances:

  • Emergency SOS: If you trigger the SOS button, your location and pre-set message are transmitted to your chosen emergency contacts or local verified NGOs.
  • Legal Compliance: We will only disclose information if compelled by a valid court order that meets international human rights standards for the protection of victims.

7. Security Protocols

  • Encryption: All communication between the app and the verified resource database is protected by TLS 1.3 and AES-256 encryption.
  • Domain Locking: To prevent “honey-pot” data traps and unauthorized scraping of our verified resource list, the app employs strict domain-locking and obfuscation.
